Money will be part of every child's future. Yet many young people reach adulthood without ever having learned how to make a confident financial decision.
The International Money Academy was created to make financial education engaging, practical and genuinely relevant to children growing up in an increasingly international world. Through stories, challenges and hands-on activities, students explore the financial decisions they will actually encounter throughout their lives — from managing everyday spending and saving for a goal, to understanding investing, entrepreneurship, and planning for the future.
Learning Through Adventure
The Academy's core programme is built around a series of five adventure novels.
Rather than presenting financial education as a traditional textbook subject, the novels take students on a journey through different countries, cities, currencies and cultures, where the characters face real challenges that require them to think, decide, and solve problems, exactly the way a genuinely good decision actually gets made.
Every adventure introduces its financial concepts naturally, through the story itself, rather than stopping the plot to explain a lesson.
The aim is simple: make financial education something children actually want to read about.

Built for an International Generation
Children at international schools grow up differently.
They may live in several countries, use multiple currencies, have parents from different parts of the world, and eventually study or work somewhere completely different from where they were born or where they went to school.
The Academy reflects that reality. Its stories cross borders, its characters encounter different currencies and cultures, and its lessons are built to develop a kind of financial thinking that can genuinely travel with a child, wherever life actually takes them.
At the centre of the series sits an old compass, joined with a coin — a symbol the characters carry with them across every single book, every currency, and every country. It's a fitting image for what the Academy is actually trying to give a child. Not a fixed set of answers for one particular place, but a genuine sense of direction: the confidence to navigate an unfamiliar financial decision, wherever in the world it happens to find them.

Bring the International Money Academy to Your School
We are currently working with international schools to develop and trial the Academy's learning programme.
Selected schools can participate in our pilot programme and receive access to selected Academy materials free of charge, helping us develop the programme alongside real teachers and real students.
